Burnout Paradise is the seventh game in the Burnout racing video game series. It was developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. It was released in January 2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and on February 5, 2009 for Microsoft Windows. It was also released on the PlayStation Store in September 2008 and via Xbox Live Marketplace's Games on Demand in August 2009. It was later added to the library of Greatest Hits titles.
Burnout Paradise's gameplay is set in the fictional "Paradise City", an open world in which players can compete in several types of races. Players can also compete online, which includes additional game modes, such as "Cops and Robbers", in which players drive over gold bars and attempt to return them to the police station and hideout, respectively. Burnout Paradise features several free updates that introduce new features such as a time-of-day cycle, and motorcycles. It also features paid downloadable content in the form of new cars and the fictional "Big Surf Island". The song "Paradise City" by Guns N' Roses is featured as the game's theme song. Paradise was received well by critics, with aggregators GameRankings and Metacritic both reporting an average score of 88/100.

Fun Games - PC games and Online games
A personal computer game (also known as a computer game or PC game) is a game played on a personal computer, rather than on a video game console or arcade machine. Computer games have evolved from the simple graphics and gameplay of early titles like Spacewar!, to a wide range of more visually advanced titles.
PC games are created by one or more game developers, often in conjunction with other specialists (such as game artists) and either published independently or through a third party publisher. They may then be distributed on physical media such as DVDs and CDs, as Internet-downloadable, possibly freely redistributable, software, or through online delivery services such as Direct2Drive and Steam. PC games often require specialized hardware in the user's computer in order to play, such as a specific generation of graphics processing unit or an Internet connection for online play, although these system requirements vary from game to game.
As of the 2000s, PC games are often regarded as offering a deeper and more complex experience than console games.
